OSWEGO, N.Y. (AP) _ Life jackets and a flashlight helped save the lives of two men whose sailboat capsized in Lake Ontario near Oswego.

The Coast Guard says a search was launched Saturday night after a woman reported that her son was overdue returning from a trip from Little Sodus Bay to Oswego in his 15-foot sailboat.

A Coast Guard rescue boat and helicopter were launched for the search. The rescue boat crew saw a flashlight from the capsized sailboat and found the two men with the boat, wearing life jackets. The men said their vessel had capsized around 4 p.m. and they were unable to right it.

Emergency medical technicians found the men were suffering from dehydration and hypothermia.
