Thursday was another big day at the Great New York State Fair for events and attendance. Friday has its share of excitement in store as well.

Attendance Thursday at the fair was up almost 16,000 from a year ago to 76,188 - likely due to music performances by Lee Greenwood, Plain White T's, and Luke Bryan. Today is Native American Day and Students Day - all Native Americans and anyone 16 or younger gets in free. Frank Fritz and Danielle Colby-Cushman, two of the stars of "American Pickers," will take the Midway Music Series stage at 7:30 to talk "Trash or Treasure" with fairgoers. Pop group Owl City is at Chevy Court at 8 tonight, with rockers Fall Out Boy at the Grandstand at 7:30.
