State police say one man is dead and another is hospitalized after their motorcycles collided at the entrance to a parking lot in central New York.

Troopers say 67-year-old Michael Huzzy of Lyons Falls was traveling on Route 39 in Oswego County around 4:40 p.m. Sunday when he made a right turn into a parking lot in the Town of Redfield.

Police say while making the turn Huzzy's motorcycle collided with one driven by 25-year-old Steven Parsons of West Leyden, causing both men to be ejected from their bikes.

The injured men were taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, where Huzzy was pronounced dead. Parsons is listed in stable condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
