Oswego County Health Department says they will conduct aerial spraying Thursday for the Triple E virus near Oneida Lake.

Officials say that spraying became crucial after finding four new instances of mosquitoes carrying the potentially deadly virus.  Spraying will be done in what's known as the Toad Harbor/Big Bay swamp.  It's an area of about 10,000 acres bordered on the south by the lake, on the west by Route 11, on the north by Route 49, and on the east by Constantia.  Spraying is set for 6 to 9 pm weather permitting, and it will be done Friday during the same time period if necessary.
