Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning.

The 38-year-old victim told police he was walking on Onondaga Ave. around 2:40 a.m. when he heard a gunshot. The victim was struck in the neck by the bullet.


The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital in a private vehicle. He is currently in serious but stable condition, but is expected to survive.
