The US Postal Service is out with a new series of stamps that could remind you of a familiar sight in Central New York.
The "Farmer's Market" series of four stamps display breads and other baked goods, fresh fruits and vegetables, with two others showing a colorful variety of flowers. The stamps were released in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture, who says farmer's markets play a key role in the sustainability of family farms.
The Farmer's Market series are Forever stamps, which means they will always be honored as First Class postage regardless of stamp price hikes. The stamps are now on sale at post offices everywhere.
