(Solvay, NY) – Solvay police are looking for the  man who robbed the Solvay Bank in Geddes Plaza on Charles Avenue. Shortly before 9 Friday morning, the suspect walked into the Charles Ave branch and handed the teller a note, saying he had a gun. No one was hurt.

He's described as a black male, about 30 years old, approximately 5 foot 7, with dreadlocks and a mustache or goatee. He was wearing a dark winter hat, dark glasses and a grey hooded sweatshirt with stripes on the pocket. He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.  He was last seen heading west on Charles Ave. toward West Genesee St.
