(Liverpool, NY)  Three schools were temporarily on lock down Thursday morning in the Liverpool district in response to a "threatening phone call." Onondaga County Sheriff's detective Jon Seeber says the call came from the relative of a Pennsylvania man who was at large and wanted in a fatal shooting. That relative has children in the Liverpool district and was concerned that the suspect had traveled to the Liverpool area.

After it was learned that David Edick had been arrested in Pennsvlvania Thursday morning at 3 a.m., the lockdown was lifted at the main building of Liverpool High as well as the 9th Grade Annex, and Morgan Road Elementary on Wetzel Road - at 9:45 a.m. No incidents or injuries were reported.

SWISSVALE, PA. (AP) -- Police are seeking the ex-husband of a Pittsburgh-area woman in the fatal shooting of her live-in boyfriend last month. Police say the man is known to have family in the Syracuse, N.Y. area. Allegheny County police say Wednesday they have charged 27-year-old David Edick with criminal homicide and burglary in the Aug. 31 incident. Police issued an arrest warrant because they say they haven't been able to find Edick. They say he may have left Pennsylvania and is known to have family in the Syracuse area.
