May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society will hold a celebration on Saturday, October 6th, open to the public, in honor of the church's namesake, Rev. Samuel J. May.
Rev. May is one of the new inductees into the National Abolitionist Hall of Fame in Peterboro, NY. The program will be from 7-9PM and will include the dramatic portrayal of Rev. May by Scott Peal of the Onondaga Historical Association as well as audience participation.
There will be a reception to follow with refreshments, and displays of historical memorabilia.
May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society is located at 3800 E. Genesee St. in Syracuse.
