ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE CHILDREN'S HEART FOUNDATION
1 in 100 babies is born with a congenital heart defect, out of those babies 25% will have to have open heart surgery to survive.
The children's heart foundation has funded 9.8 million dollars in research so far and because ofthis the survival rate has increased significantly over time! The research strives to find more effective treatments for congenital heart defects, a way to prevent them, and hopefully someday a cure!!
Why do I do this? Because in august of 2015 I became a heart mom when I had a baby born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and pulmonary hypertension. Kody fought with all he had but ultimately lost his fight in December of 2015. 20 years ago Kody would have only lived about 5 days, but because of research he lived 126 days!! Research is getting closer everyday to a cure!!! It might be too late for Kody but it's not too late for all the other heart babies fighting the fight!
Please help us save the little hearts because little hearts matter!!
