Dolly Parton & Sia Deliver Touching Rendition Of ‘Here I Am’: Listen

Dolly Parton has courted Sia to breathe fresh life into her classic smash "Here I Am."

The number, which appeared first on the country icon's 1971 album Coat of Many Colors, is one of six songs which the 72-year-old executive produces on the soundtrack for Netflix's upcoming film, Dumplin'Naturally, Parton guides the way on the over the tune's heavenly piano intro, beckoning the Australian pop star to assist on the beginning lyrics until the two unite in what becomes a harmonic, gospel-like melody.

The Linda Perry-written collaboration is Parton's first offering to release from the original motion picture soundtrack. In addition, she's also teamed up with singers like Miranda Lambert, Elle King, Miley Cyrus and more artist on music for the film based on Julie Murphy's young adult novel of the same name.

The Anne Fletcher-directed dramedy follows an overweight yet confident teenage protagonist named Willowdean who enters the Miss Teen Blue Bonnet Pageant in an effort to win the affection of her crush and validate her own self-worth.

The movie, which has yet been given a release date, will star Jennifer Aniston, Odeya RushDove Cameron, Harold PerrineauBex Taylor-Klaus and Ginger Minj.

Interestingly enough, Murphy's lead character is a big fan of Parton's in the book. The legendary songbird spoke about her involvement with Aniston in the film, telling E!, "She's producing and starring in a movie called Dumplin' and it was a best-selling book and in the book this girl that's the character was a Dolly fan and loved her music."

She continued: "And so it inspired her in her life and so, of course, they're using a lot  of my music from the old days but they asked me to write some new  pieces and a theme song."
