Presidential Alert System to be Tested on October 3rd

On October 3rd FEMA will carry out a test of an emergency alert system which will reach all smart phone devices. Dubbed the "Presidential Alert System" it is made to allow the president to address the country in times of disaster. The goal of this test is to make sure any warning about national disasters, amber alerts, or inclement weather reaches people within range of a cell tower. The test should be pretty clear, and no action is required.

Users cannot opt out of this test, whether you support the president or not. Don't be discouraged if you aren't a follower- this message should only appear every three years or so as a test or in case of an actual emergency. They say end users locations cannot be tracked through this service, but these days who knows? What are your thoughts on this new system?
