Hancock To Expand Drone Base

Hancock airfield, the first national guard base to operate Reaper drones, is expanding its capabilities in an effort to modernize their technology. The construction is set to start in 2019 according to Chuck Shumer, the standing governor of New York. Congress also approved of a $6.8 million expansion of their flight training facility, which will double the number of crews trained each year and is expected to cushion the national shortage in drone pilots.

The airbase has been an economic driver for this area, and many see this as a boost to everyone in CNY. The hope is that with these modernized and more effective systems we won't see Hancock at risk of being closed down, similarly to how we have seen so many bases closed and consolidated in recent years. How do you guys feel about this one?
