Michael Cohen is accepting a deal from Robert Mueller and is expected to enter a guilty plea for lying to Congress. Cohen admitted that he made these misleading and false statements to stay consistent with and "loyal" to President Donald Trump. Trump spoke highly of Cohen before he entered this plea, once praising him and now calling him out to say he's making up stories to save himself and that anyone looking for a good lawyer should look elsewhere.
Cohen acted as somewhat of a "fixer" for President Trump for years proceeding his election win in November 2016, paying off adult film stars and models and taking care of NDA's for Trump. Trump initially denied being involved in the signing of the NDA's.
