- Meals on Wheels Syracuse- Meals on Wheels administers the delivery of nutritious food, nutrition education, and assistance to community members who are unable to do it themselves. - Refugee and Immigrant Self Empowerment (RISE)- The goal of RISE is to encourage self sufficiency through employment, education, social support and independence to the many members of the refugee and immigrant communities in CNY. Volunteers are needed for fundraising, Children and Womens empowerment mentorships, and youth/adult ed courses. [Website]
- Ronald McDonald House of CNY- RMHC works to improve the health and wellbeing of children and families across CNY by keeping families closer to their children while they undergo treatments and and deal with their illnesses. - Samaritan Center- The Samaritan Center serves hot meals 365 days a year, more than 124,000 meals annually. They have a network of more than 1,500 community members that lend a helping hand a month, and it's something to be proud of in our community.
