The Daily Show host Trevor Noah commemorated Martin Luther King, Jr. at SU's 34th annual celebration of the civil rights leader. Local broadcaster Jackie Robinson emceed the event at the Carrier Dome and NewsChannel 9's Jennifer Sanders sat down with the Comedy Central star.
Local groups performed traditional African dance, sang original songs and five inspiring people were recognized for their work in Central New York with the 2019 Unsung Hero Awards.
