If you're a dog lover AND a beer lover you're going to love this new 'tap house'!
Fido's is the 'World's First Dog Tap House' where you can, sit down, relax, watch the game, drink and try over 40 craft beers and ciders, but that's not all! You can also play with shelter puppies! Yes I said it, play with shelter puppies in a separate room because it's not only a bar, it's also a foster home for shelter dogs!
This little puppy paradise is based in Tigard, Oregon (20 mins from Portland, Oregon) and just celebrated its one year anniversary! In the past year Fido's has helped 49 puppies find their FURever homes.
On top of finding pups homes, they also donate a portion event proceeds to Oregon Friends of Shelter Animals (OFOSA), local shelters, and other charities and nonprofit organizations that dedicated to helping homeless animals.
Don't worry, customers can't just walk out with a puppy. If a customer wants to adopt a puppy being fostered at Fido's they must follow the OFOSA adoption policies, that way each doggo can be properly paired with the perfect home.
