While Valentine's Day is long over, a London conservation center is still taking $2 donations to name a cockroach after your ex, or ex-friend.
Much like naming a star after someone you love, you can now name a cockroach after your "good for nothing" ex-boyfriend, ex-girlfriend, or ex-best friend. While this may seem like a huge insult to the cockroach, it does make for a good revenge, or anit-love gift to yourself .
Hemsley Conservation Centre announce on their Facebook in January, that they would be allowing people to name a cockroach after a "worthless" ex, and if that wasn't enough, they'd also display the name on a "roach board" for all to see.
The $2 fee is to help raise money for the Zoo's future projects.
Don't worry, you're not going home empty handed either, in addition to having your ex's name displayed right next to the cockroach exhibit, you also receive a certificate that says:
"I’ve named a cockroach at the Hemsley Conservation Centre in the not so loving memory of my worthless ex!"
It's a little disappointing to see that the certificate doesn't have the cockroach's name on it, however, Hemsley Conservation Centre makes a good point saying,
"We don't want to fuel a fire, so this is a keepsake for you or a friend, although should you wish- the certificate does come complete with a message box!"
You have until, October 2nd, 2019, if you'd like a roach named after your ex-"someone" and have the name displayed next to the exhibit.
