Rise Above Poverty will be hosting a Slam Dunk Poverty - Meet N Greet on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm. The purpose of this event is to bring awareness to the needs of the students at Delaware Academy and to collect 500 pairs of NEW underwear! Founder and Executive Director, Reggie Kelley, explains “Undergarments are the least donated clothing item and yet the most in demand. Clean undergarments restore dignity and improve basic health.” Rise Above Poverty believes every student deserves to learn in an environment where their dignity is respected.
The cost of admission is a package of NEW underwear (kids XS - XL).
