Americans with Disabilities Act Celebration

A celebration of the 29th anniversary of the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act!

Wednesday, July 24 at City Hall Commons Atrium starting at 9:30 a.m. ending with a parade downtown at 11.

TV journalist Liz Ayers will moderate the celebration, which features local TV journalist Tammy Palmer and Office of Aging's JoAnne Spoto Decker as speakers.

There will also be music by David Clark Learning Center band and the Midler Melodies.

Sign language interpreters will be provided and Centro will provide Call-A-Bus services for those who cannot complete the parade route.

Marchers are encouraged to bring posters, banners, signs and noisemakers to celebrate the ADA and cross-disabilities awareness.
