Oswego County's Public Safety Day

The Oswego County Sheriff's Office is hosting its 5th Annual Public Safety Day event on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 from 10a-2pm. The event is completely free and offers so many different outreach programs and information as well as giveaways including bicycle helmets, ID cards, car seat check, prizes, etc.

The event incorporates several local, state and federal level agencies in the Public Safety realm as well as several items of entertainment for kids and their families including carnival games, bounce houses, a Dunk-a-Deputy challenge as well as the first ever Tug-of-War Competition with the Sheriff and his Deputies against the general public. Food trucks are provided on site as well as many other family friendly events such as face painting, yard games, power wheels tracks, etc. Proceeds from the event's 50/50 raffle, dunk tank and tug-of-war will be donated to the NYS Sheriff's Association Summer Camp.
