Old Dominion posted a snippet of their soon-to-release collaboration with Megan Moroney on Wednesday (August 16), reflecting on how the fast-rising “Tennessee Orange” star transformed the song the band wrote.

“[Megan Moroney] came in and turned a song we wrote about being on the brink of a breakup into what feels like a scene from a movie. We can’t wait for you to hear it,” Old Dominion said as the band shared a brief clip of “Can’t Break Up Now,” which makes its debut on Friday (August 18): “So what am I supposed to unlisted to every song written/ Take you out of every melody/ You know my secrets, my demons and I know your weaknesses/ All of your doubts and your dreams.”

Old Dominion and Moroney previously hinted at the collaboration when they posted photos wearing one another’s merch, teasing “CBUN” and August 18. The “Make It Sweet” band confirmed earlier this week that the collaboration will appear on their 18-track album, Memory Lane. The project will also include a collaboration with Blake Shelton, “I Should Have Married You,” “Some Horses,” “Freedom Like You” and more.
