The New York State Fair's lineup of music artists is nearly complete, with award-winning country music star Dustin Lynch set to perform at Suburban Park on Friday, August 29. Known for hits like "Small Town Boy" and "Good Girl," Lynch brings his dynamic live show to the fair, which runs from August 20 through September 1 in Syracuse.
Fair Director Julie LaFave expressed excitement about Lynch's addition, saying, "Dustin’s engaging stage presence and hit songs celebrate everyday life and he embodies the spirit of country music." The fair's 2025 Chevrolet Music Series will feature 41 national recording acts, with concerts included in the admission price.
However, fair organizers are still working to fill the August 21 slot after the Steve Miller Band canceled their performance due to weather concerns. The band cited extreme weather conditions as the reason for canceling their tour, which included over a dozen performances, as reported by WSYR-TV.
Tickets for the fair are available online, with general admission priced at $8, while children under 12 and seniors over 65 can enter for free. Parking costs $12 per vehicle.
