Brett Eldredge Broke 4-Day Silent Meditation To Warn Girl Of A Skunk

Brett Eldredge called into the Bobby Bones Show after finishing the first weekend of his GLOW tour. He was at the airport when he called in, he had just finished two nights in Boston and 1 night in Philadelphia.

After not touring much this year, Eldredge admitted his voice was a little tired after this weekend but he's gotten really good at warm ups and this tour matters to him so much so he finds his way through it. He had also just come off a silent meditation retreat where he didn't talk for 4 days so he really wasn't using his voice up until the tour. He admitted that he lasted all 4 days without talking besides a moment when he was doing a walking meditation and saw a skunk chasing a girl. He decided it was worth breaking his silence to warn her about the skunk and thankfully she got away without being sprayed.

Bobby Bones admitted he just started liking Christmas in recent years, but even as someone who wasn't always a big Christmas fan, he's always loved Eldredge's show. He shared the his wife had never seen Eldredge before and they had all become really good friends, so the first time she went to the show she was nervous it was going to be cringey. However, by the time the show was over she was crying because it was so magical.

Part of the GLOW tour is the entire vibe, including Eldredge wearing tuxedos. He admitted he brings 10 to 12 tuxedos on the road with him, but he has even more at home. He also is no longer drinking alcohol, but he used to drink bourbon every time he did this tour. He wanted to keep the magic of it all alive so he still drinks a non-alcoholic bourbon on stage, however he admitted it tastes very gross. On stage with him is a 12-piece band orchestra, including 8 horns and a rhythm section. Eldredge also shared they have stepped up production this year, there is a video wall on stage and it shows video of different Christmas cities and cozy living rooms. Lately his favorite song to perform is "Season of Lights and Wonder" because it reminds him of memories with his Grandma. The GLOW tour has really grown over the years, he started it int he basement of The Sutler in Nashville for 100 people, the next year he did Skulls Rainbow Room in Nashville, and then it moved to the CMA Theater. This year it's the biggest it has ever been, they will be finishing out the tour in Nashville at Bridgestone Arena.

When asked the Christmas song he wish he had written, Eldredge admitted it's "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" because it feels like a warm song. He really loves the sentiment of it and how optimistic it is.

There are a few tickets level for his tour in some cities, so if you're wanting to get in the holiday spirit, get your tickets here!
