The Bobby Bones Show came back from the Thanksgiving holiday yesterday and had lots of stories to share.
Lunchbox's story turned into more of a complaint. First of all, his three kids and his wife all got sick over the holiday with walking pneumonia. Then, on Thanksgiving day, he was upset over the fact their big meal was delayed over 3 hours. His wife told him the big meal was going to happen at 2 p.m. However, they didn't end up eating until 5 p.m.
He was really frustrated, and asked the show how he can make sure this same thing doesn't happen on Christmas. When the show asked him if he offered to help at all, he said he offered suggestions like getting the turkey in the oven because it wasn't. He also did help with breaking breakfast for everyone that morning. He prepped Bubble Bread and had it made and ready to eat at the time he said it would be ready. Lunchbox also added that his wife wanted to make the meal with her mom, they were excited about bonding and working together on it so he didn't feel the need to step in.
Lots of listeners were calling in upset with Lunchbox because his wife was sick and doing her best to cook a whole meal.
