Wailin' Phelan has been crowned the fastest dog in America. She's a sighthound mixed-breed and lives with her much slower humans. Ted and Krista in Crownsville, Maryland. Phelan, beat out 116 other dogs in last year's '2020 American Kennel Club Fast CAT Invitational in Orlando, Florida. Apparently, the favorite in that race was a greyhound who turned out to be little competition for Phelan's ground pounding attack. She was clocked on the 100 yard course, where she completed race in 6.3 seconds, at 32 mph!
Someone at Invisible Fence Dog Fence system should offer her an endorsement deal. If she ever gets away, she's going to be tough to catch!
