Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg Snubbed in Oscars

With the Oscars right around the corner, you expect to see some familiar faces.  A couple of those faces include Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.

It is no secret that Hanks and Spielberg have chemistry.  Most times they work together they make movie magic.  The prime example of this would be “Saving Private Ryan.”

Hanks, also known for his Oscar renowned work for “Philadelphia” “Forrest Gump” and “Cast Away,” has seen little success winning Oscars.  It has actually been 17 years since Hanks won the golden man. His portrayal of Ben Bradlee in “The Post” directed by none other than Spielberg, seemed fit to at least get a nomination. However, this didn't happen.

Instead, Hanks and Spielberg will be watching at home with popcorn and moral support at the ready.
