Who Performed for 'Super Bowl I' Halftime Show?

No, it was not the Beatles or the Stones. The Beatles stopped touring in 1966, a year before Super Bowl I took place.  The Stones on the other hand, were booked on the Ed Sullivan Show. At the time, it was clear to see that the Ed Sullivan Show was a bigger gig than the Super Bowl. So who took the stage January 15, 1967?

The Beach Boys!

That's right, talk about good vibrations.  The Beach Boys were the perfect pick for the venue as they had the sweet, pretty boy look perfect for the big stage.
