Here's Some Fun Weekend Activities To Do For Mother's Day

With Mother’s day just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about what to get her. In addition to buying her those beautiful flowers, dollar store card that you picked up last minute, how about taking her to something the whole family will enjoy?

There are plenty of local places to choose from that vary in prices.

If you’re looking for a nice lunch picnic out doors, Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards in LaFayette is hosting a Mother’s Day Picnic on Saturday, may 12th and Sunday, May 13th from 11am to 2pm. Lunches include a cheese and fruit board, sandwiches or salad. All include a beverage (alcohol is extra), chips and a pickle. Adult lunches are $13.95, $19.95 with alcoholic beverages, and children’s lunches for $8.95.

If you’re looking to take mom to an upscale, brunch buffet the 1060 Restaurant is always an option. 1060 Restaurant is located at 1060 E.Genessee Street in Syracuse. This brunch buffet is a served from 10am to 3pm. It’s perfect for those early bird and late risers. This brunch includes, an omelet station, waffle station, carved prime rib and bacon-wrapped turkey, and much more. This brunch for adults is $39.95 and children 6 years-old to 12 years-old, $21.95, and children 5 and under are free.

As much as your Mother likes the cute breakfasts in bed, I’m sure she will love a nice mimosa, or glass of wine with her family at one of these nice restaurants for Mother’s Day this year.
