Wegmans Win Another Award For Customer Loyalty!

Rochester-based Wegmans has won another award! The grocery chain was named “America’s Favorite Grocery Store” in an online survey conducted by Market Force Information. Wegmans beat out such competitors as Walmart, Trader Joe’s, and Publix to gain the honor. 

Wegmans finished on top with a composite loyalty index of 77 percent to narrowly beat out Publix which finished with a loyalty index of 76 percent. Trader Joe’s finished third with a loyalty index of 75 percent. More than 12,800 people were surveyed. In 2017, Wegmans and Publix tied for first with a loyalty index of 77 percent. 

Founded in 1916 in Rochester, New York, Wegmans currently operates 97 stores in the  Mid-Atlantic and New England regions. Wegmans has been on “Fortune’s” annual “100 Best Companies To Work For” since the list first appeared in 1998. Congratulations go out to the Wegmans family for another well-earned award!
