Brianna Stewart Named WNBA MVP!

Former C-NS and UConn standout, Brianna Stewart, just added another honor to her trophy case. Steward was named the WNBA 2018 MVP!  This honor comes as her current team, the Seattle Storm, takes on the Phoenix Mercury in the best-of-five semifinals for the WNBA Championship.

Stewart finished the season with a scoring average of 21.8 points per game in just her third season with the Storm. The Storm finished the season as the league’s best team with a 26-8 record.

Previously, Stewart won the 2016 WNBA Rookie of the Year, four National  Championships with the UConn Huskies, and four Final Four Outstanding Player awards. She is the only college athlete to win  four Outstanding Player awards. Congratulations to Brianna!
