As the fall season is upon us here in Central New York, one thing we are starting to see is fall foliage. Upstate New York offers some of the prettiest sights for fall foliage, so why not take a fall foliage road trip! Nothing can beat grabbing some friends, your favorite driving tunes, and rolling the windows down to see the fall foliage in action. Don't worry, I've devised a list of the best spots in Central New York to check out below!
Chittenango Falls State Park
A state park right here in Central New York that offers so much in any season. The fall foliage surrounding the falls themselves is something you have to see.
Clark Reservation State Park
With more than a dozen trails and a glacier lake with great views, definitely worth a stop on your fall foliage trip.
Green Lakes State Park
A staple park of Central New York. The two lakes and various trails are gorgeous this time of year.
From now to the end of October, you can enjoy a beautiful fall foliage on horseback. Just further adds to the fall fun.
While they are a little far out from Central New York, these falls are not far from Ithaca and offer a great view. The falls are beautiful all year long, but especially in the fall foliage.
