Ready for some chicken wings? Wingstop Restaurants, a Dallas, Texas-based national chain, will open 3 stores in the Central New York area in 2019. The chain began in 1994, and began franchising four years later. To date, the company has 1,188 locations throughout the country. Wingstop restaurants are decorated with an aviation theme based on airlines from the 1930s and 1940s.
As of now, the chain is looking to place stores in Liverpool, Syracuse, and DeWitt. Joey Berry, one of the franchise partners, said they "are in the process of scouting exact locations now." Berry further states that they would like to put a location somewhere near Syracuse University and a location on Erie Boulevard in DeWitt.
The menu offers boneless wings and crispy tenders. There are 11 flavors to choose from which includes lemon pepper, mango habanero, and spicy Korean. Side orders such as cheese fries, Cajun fried corn, and Louisiana Voodoo fries are also available. Seating is available, but most orders are take out and online orders. Check them out when they open next year!
