A Beer Made For Dogs?! Yes, But There Is No Alcohol In It!

So, a beer for dogs? Yes, that’s right! A Houston, Texas couple have begun brewing a beer for dogs that is suppose to help canine’s with digestive issues. These is no alcohol in the beer, but plenty of healthy additives.

Megan and Steve Long started brewing their concoction when their dog, Rocky, was having digestion problems. The beer is called “Good Boy Dog Beer” and is selling at about 20 locations in the Houston area and will ship cans if needed. They call the drink “beer” cause they use much of the same equipment to brew the beer, but do not use the fermentation process.

The beer contains all natural ingredients like vegetables and meat. It also contains turmeric, which is a spice which is know to aid in a dog’s digestion. The beer is available in three humorous varieties: “IPA Lot In The Yard,” “Session...Squirrel,” and “Mailman Malt Liquor.” Interesting!
