Hullar’s Restaurant, a fixture in Fayetteville for over a hundred years, closed last year. However, the former owners made the decision to sell the property to Mark Bullis who plans to reopen the restaurant under an already familiar name in the Central New York area: The Bull and Bear Roadhouse.
With successful restaurants already locating in the East Syracuse and Liverpool areas, Bullis said that one more family-friendly restaurant was needed in Fayetteville. As a result, he plans to put a third location of his franchise in the old Hullar’s location.
Bullis plans to do some renovations before opening his new location, but he said he plans to work quickly and hopes to be ready to go by late winter. Bullis would like to create a more spacious feeling to the building so he will raise the ceiling, redesign the bar, and add bigger windows. Sounds good to me! Good luck, Mark!
