USPS Service Suspended On Wednesday In Honor Of Late President Bush

As the remains of our 41st president George HW Bush go on a final tour of DC on Wednesday the US Postal Service is suspending its deliveries until the national day of mourning has passed. George Bush SR was a highly respected Naval Officer and one term president who is being remembered for his cool thinking and respectful manner in which he ran our country.

The USPS says they will continue minimal operations to ensure there's no irreversible backup. Current President Donald Trump ordered the national day of mourning, which calls for a halt to most Federal Government institutions for the whole day and flags at half mast for 30 days.
