Students Create Musical Christmas Display Using 30,000 Lights!

Students at Erie High School in Erie, Pennsylvania, have designed one really awesome Christmas light show! The students used over 30,000 lights to come up with the beautiful display that is located right outside of the high school itself.

The lights are coordinated with Christmas music and light up if different arrangements according to the beat of the music. The music that goes with the light show is found on Erie High Schools 101.7 FM radio station beginning at 6 pm each night.

Students from labs such as engineering, landscaping, electricity, and construction work with each other to create the light show. “There was trial and error on how we were going to get them up there,” said student Thomas Kernohan. Judging from the results, they sure found a way to get it done! Check out the snippet below!
