Unemployment Rate Went Down in Syracuse For November

This is great news! The Syracuse area’s unemployment rate fell to 3.5 percent in November, down from 5 percent in the same month last year.

According to the state Department of Labor, there were 299,900 people employed and 10,900 unemployed in November in the Syracuse metro area, which consists of Madison, Onondaga and Oswego counties.
