Walmart Offers New Truck Drivers almost $90k Due to Shortage

Walmart truck drivers are getting a raise! The raise comes with an apparent shortage of drivers, so the supermarket giant decided it needed more incentive. If you have a commercial license, or are seeking one, and have a clean driving record, don't be afraid to drop your resume! Drivers are now being offered up to almost $90,000 a year!

Most companies outsource their driving but Walmart has a fleet of about 8,000 drivers. You've probably seen them on the road while traveling. They drive long distances and are responsible for getting you the items you need to stay stocked up at a low price. The Walmart drivers are paid per mile, so the more you drive the more you get paid and considering the number of Walmarts country and world wide it's no wonder these drivers are gonna get paid so much.

According to the American Trucking Association 70% of your home goods have been shipped via truck on a highway before it reached your supermarket. These men and women deserve a thanks, and a nice raise to go along with it!
