It seems like everyday we are finding out how music can play a huge role in our everyday lives. Well here is another reason: a new study has found that music can relieve stress and increase productivity!
The study of 12,000 people by Dr. Daniel Mullensiefen, a music psychologist at Goldsmith’s, University of London, found that 75% of those involved in the study felt lower stress when listening to their favorite song. Two thirds of those said that listening to music made them feel more healthier, while 61% said that it made them feel more confident in the gym.
Finally, 50% of the people in the study felt more productive while listening to music. Higher sound quality also made a difference too. So there you have it! Another reason to listen to music during the day: being happier and more productive!
