Former S.U. Standout, Eric Devendorf, Gives Back To The Syracuse Community

Eric Devendorf is a very familiar name to Syracuse University basketball fans throughout Central New York. The former S.U. standout, who played for coach Jim Boeheim from 2005 till 2009 and routinely plays for Boeheim’s Army in The Basketball Tournament, now lives in Syracuse with his family.

Devendorf has also turned into an even more generous human being! Devendorf, with the help of Romano Toyota, The Syracuse MOST, and other benefactors, recently helped many deserving children get new and used pair of sneakers for free! The event, held at the MOST, saw a long line of families waiting patiently to get a free pair of sneakers! Nick’s Barbershop was also there to give these young people free haircuts!

Devendorf’s preliminary tweet on Twitter eventually grew into a reality! Devendorf said that he was “blessed” to have a platform based on his days at Syracuse University and was happy to use it in a positive manner. Well Eric, Central New York is “blessed” to have you, too! Thank you!
