We're currently wrapping up our Morning Show for today, but as we look out the studio window and see the snow falling, we just wanted to give you some facts and thoughts:
Remember that Governor Cuomo has a travel advisory in affect for our area for the entire day. It affects all 62 counties in New York state, so if you don't have to go outside, please, stay indoors.
Our area could see about 10 to 20 inches of snow before Stella is all over. Make sure you have enough gas for your snow blower, and if you're older or have some type of disability, a friend never hurts to help you out during this rough weather. Temperatures are also still going to be on the frigid side, so bundle up when outdoors.
Tommy's daughter was in Wegmans earlier this morning. She barely saw any food on the shelves in some areas. It appears as if people really knew this was gonna be a doozey and acted fast! We hope you have enough food and water to get through the next few days.
We are not surprised at all by this late Winter Storm, but for those of you comparing this to the Blizzard of '93, we feel you shouldn't worry. That was an extraordinary system that came through and no report we've seen suggests this is going to be anywhere near that. So stay calm, enjoy your day off from work or school, and make sure you listen into us tomorrow morning for all the latest updates (and of course some GREAT country music!!)
