It's almost the weekend. Whoopie! I could not be any happier, after the intense winter storm we had this week, I really need to just get out and enjoy myself. Is that too much to ask?
I've found a couple of really cool events going on this weekend that I wanted to share with you. Maybe we can figure something out together!
Maple Festival is going on at the Cayuga Nature Center Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 2pm. Live music, pancake breakfast, presentations and so much more! $12 for adults, kids three and younger get in free. I'd looooove to try some good ole fashioned Maple Syrup on my waffles!!
The Home And Garden Show is taking place at the Empire Expo Center at the State Fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Everything from windows and doors to plumbing and water proofing and landscaping. Admission is $10 at the door, kids younger than 16 get in free. Now I just love this event. It makes me think about spring and all of the fun new projects that come along with the better weather.
Wicked plays at the Landmark Theatre through Sunday, March 26th. Now THIS is a great musical!! I went to see it last night with my husband and I was on my toes and singing all the songs all the way back home.
The Syracuse Crunch play the Albany Devils Saturday at 7pm in the War Memorial. Single tickets start at just $16. And let's not forget about our Men's and Women's basketball teams, despite the Men just being in the NIT, we must root them on!
And SYRA Comic Con is going on at the Holiday Inn in Salina, beginning at 10am on Sunday. Comic books, guests and a cosplay contest. Admission is $9 or $15 per family. Now this I don't get much of, but I know the youngsters love dressing up as video game characters.
Well help me decide what to do! Call me up and tell me what you're doing this weekend!
