I'm not really sure how I feel about these two new pieces of clothing. I wanna hear what you think of them!
Nordstrom is selling a pair of men’s jeans that look like they have mud on them … for $425. They are "Heavily distressed medium-blue denim jeans in a comfortable straight-leg fit embody rugged, Americana workwear that's seen some hard-working action with a crackled, caked-on muddy coating that shows you're not afraid to get down and dirty."
Now really? That much money for a pair of jeans that look like they are dirty? Why is this even a fashion trend? It just makes you look dirty in my opinion! And that's a lot of money for one pair of jeans. I try to find sales and only will shop for many things at once.
Dolce & Gabbana’s new sneakers are causing some outrage. The shoes, which were apparently designed with Millennials in mind, feature scribbles and sayings all over them. And one of those sayings is: "I’m thin and gorgeous."
I can instantly see where people would be upset with this. I think that no matter how you look, everyone is BEAUTIFUL. You can weigh 100 pounds or 300, and you are still a beautiful person. I am sick of stereotypes like this.
What do you think?
