Garth Brooks was on Ellen yesterday when they two talked about the criticism that came after he lip-synched his performance on the CMAs.
Garth told Ellen, "We did 12 shows in 10 days, and right in the middle of those 12 shows was the CMAs. So we went in and did a track for it, just in case my voice was gone. [We] made a game-day decision and played it because we still had seven shows starting the next night in Spokane."
Ellen told Garth that he made the right decision to save his voice for people who paid money for a ticket rather than an award show. Garth said he would do it again if the situation occurred.
Take a look at Garth's interview on Ellen (they start talking about the lip-synch at around 1:25 in) and let us know what you would have done.
