One of my all-time favorite sitcoms was "The Office." The show ran on the NBC network from 2005 to 2013. In 2006, the show won an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy. It featured an excellent ensemble of actors and actresses led by Steve Carell who played Michael Scott.
Well, according to a TV Line report, NBC is considering doing a reboot of the beloved series for the 2018-2019 season. Although Carell would not be part of the rebooted series, the network is considering a cast that involves some of the original characters along with some new cast members. Original executive producer, Greg Daniels, has on open invitation to return to the series.
One actor who would love to be a part of the reboot is John Krasinski, who played the role of Jim Halpert. On a recent episode of the "Ellen" show, Krasinski told Ellen that, although he has yet to be contacted by the network, he would "love to get that gang back together.” From my point of view, NBC should make this happen!
