Onondaga County has announced some parking and pedestrian changes for the Amphitheater for Kenny Chesney's show Thursday night, after what was a pretty hectic go of it for fans of Dave Matthews.
Onondaga County Executive Joanie Mahoney has just made remarks, saying that she praised the actions of Amphitheater workers to open up the pedestrian bridge once people started crossing the highway last night.
And as a response to Tuesday night, the Amphitheater has released these following parking changes ahead of Thursday night:
PARKING LOT OPENING TIME:
All parking lots will now open up four hours before the concert begins. This means, you can park as early as 3:30pm to allow time for yourself to get to your seats before the 7:30pm start time. Also, plenty of time for shuttle buses to enter with people as well.
Good news! The pedestrian bridge will be open for concert goers to cross over from the Brown and Pink lots, avoiding the need for everyone to take a shuttle bus over if you wish to walk.
PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY IN ORANGE LOT:
There's going to be a designated walkway for people to navigate easily through all of the construction currently going on in the Orange Lot.
Centro will run more shuttle buses than ever on site for those who need a ride over from the Brown and Pink parking lots.
SHUTTLES FROM DOWNTOWN SYRACUSE:
As always, allow yourself a lot of time to park and walk in, as you will need to be checked by security to enter the Amphitheater.
