Onondaga Central High School graduate and Minnesota Vikings running back Latavius Murray is invited local high school football players to train with him on his old high school turf. How cool is that? Latavius wants to give back to the community that gave him so much, and what better way than this!
A lot of the local players who met and trained with Latavius say that he is their motivation to keep going. Seeing his success and knowing he came from a small school like Onondaga Central gives them hope for their future football careers. Not only will the players work with Latavius, but also his trainer, Vinny Scollo.
His trainer says Latavius is in great shape for the upcoming season for the Vikings and he's fueled by how close the they came to the Super Bowl last year. Latavius keeps improving in his stats each season, definitely something motivating for the players right here in Central New York that he has worked with.
