They really wanted something to eat! Residents of a street on the west side of Boise, Idaho were stunned to see some 118 goats start meandering down their street! The goats started showing up at around 7:00 am and started eating the plants in the neighborhood.
The goats escaped from from a corral near the Ada County Highway District where they had rented to clear foliage. The goats belonged to Kim and Matt Gabica who run a business called, ironically, “We Rent Goats.” You just can’t make this stuff up!
The goats escaped from the corral by kicking out slats from a wooden fence! Employees from the company were able to round up all the goats and put them in a truck for transportation back to the corral. Let’s hope that broken slat in the wooden fence got fixed!
