Dave Bullard, the spokesman for the NYS Fair, joined us this week to talk about everything the fair has to offer this year. Dave gave us so much information, we separated them into two podcast episodes for you to listen to. Check each one of them out below:
In this first clip, Dave talks about some of the basics of the NYS Fair. The gates open at 7 AM and the buildings open at 10 AM, but Dave has a few ideas of what you can do before the buildings open. Just listen and find out!
In this clip, Dave talks more about the new Expo Center that is at the State Fair this year. While the center will be an ice rink during the fair, there are many other plans for it when the fair is not running. Dave also talks about the 400 to 500 music concerts that are put on each year at the fair and who this year will feature. Dave and I also talk about the agriculture sections of the fair and a new drone show that is being put on each day at 9:30 PM. This year, the fair will also feature some of the usual thrill rides, but also a kiddie section for the smallest of kids. We also talk about the 6 parades that are on special days at the fair and how you could be a part of them.
